Today, we’ll share a great tip for a high-quality project. CCTV projects involve a wide range of specifications, and not all camera models are always appropriate for certain needs.

A common example in this field is the environmental specifications, which determine whether a camera is designed to withstand outdoor conditions or is intended solely for indoor use.
The most common solution for environmental challenges is to research a reputable brand with a broad product catalog for various projects. However, during the project, there may be changes in camera placement, and, for example, moving an indoor camera to an outdoor environment can be extremely risky.

Adapters, enclosures, and protection boxes were developed to mitigate costs associated with new purchases, but attention is required as these devices are generally designed for specific camera models.

Axis T93C10

An example of an enclosure adapted for a camera is the T93C10, a model developed by Axis specifically for the Q1659 camera. In addition to adapting an indoor camera for outdoor environments, this product is built to maintain ideal conditions for sensitive components, allowing installation in environments with temperatures ranging from -40 °C to 50 °C, protection against water ingress and dust, and more.

In the case of the Q1659 camera, which does not come with wall mounting support, this enclosure enables integration of the camera with the specific support for the model.

Besides the T93C10, there are other models designed for different Axis cameras, such as the T92G20, developed for most models in the Q1645 series, and the T93G05, compatible with models from the M1124 and M1125 series.
