AXIS Q6215-LE
The Axis Q series is considered a premium line, offering the most advanced products to meet a wide range of professional requirements. The **AXIS Q6215-LE** stands out compared to other models from competing brands (and even from Axis itself) due to its robust design and superior quality, which were engineered for durability, ease of installation, and reduced maintenance costs.
The Q6215-LE features multiple resistance specifications, such as IK10, which provides an advanced level of impact resistance. Additionally, Axis ensures its products exceed certification requirements to deliver the highest possible quality to users.
Furthermore, the Q6215-LE holds an IP68 rating, indicating strong resistance to dust and water, along with NEMA certification. To learn more about these resistance classifications, read our article here.
Resolution and Image Capture
The Q6215-LE was designed with Full HD resolution, and its varifocal lens (6.7–201mm) offers 30x zoom, performing flawlessly at long-range distances. However, its standout feature is the infrared (IR) sensor, which enables excellent visibility up to 400 meters in complete darkness.
Additionally, the camera requires only 0.07 lux of minimum lighting for color image capture and 0.008 lux for black-and-white IR imaging. For comparison, the minimum moonlight provides around 0.27 lux, so the Q6215-LE’s 0.07 lux lighting ensures high-quality, color-captured images even in low-light conditions.
Ideal Installation in Airports, Dams, Hydroelectric Plants, and More
The Q6215-LE was developed for seamless integration in large-scale outdoor projects that require extreme weather resistance. The model is equipped with a water, rain, and snow removal system, supports high-wind environments with speeds up to 245 km/h, and can be installed on poles (camera facing upward) or on rooftops (camera facing downward).
Finally, the Q6215-LE includes the Lightfinder and WDR technologies to enhance image capture in shadowed and backlit environments, as well as Axis ZIPStream for improved video compression, reducing data transmission and storage costs.
