Constantly, Axis Communications, a manufacturer specialized in developing IP CCTV technologies for over 20 years, presents new products to the market, bringing the latest technologies.
The company has a diverse product catalog that covers various types of projects. These projects can vary in size, catering to both small and medium enterprises as well as multinational corporations.
The Axis P line generally includes intermediate-level cameras that adapt to some small projects, extending to corporate projects. In this article, we will showcase Axis's new solution for the P Line, the Indoor P1375 camera.
The Axis P1375
Bringing a completely innovative design compared to older models, the Axis P1375 is considered a camera for intermediate projects, yet with a set of features capable of matching more robust cameras from other brands.
To start, this model has a Full HD resolution of 5MP at 60 fps (frames per second). Like the latest Axis camera models, the P1375 features Zipstream technology, which compresses the captured video to reduce bandwidth and storage, making network projects more cost-effective. In addition to Zipstream, this camera is one of the first Axis cameras to support both H.264 and the latest H.265 compression standards.
Furthermore, the P1375 camera has enhanced low-light performance, allowing Full HD video quality even in poorly lit environments.
This is due to Lightfinder 2.0, the evolution of the already well-known Lightfinder technology for Axis users, which provides greater accuracy and sensitivity for capturing in dark environments. Lightfinder 2.0 was recently launched in May 2019.
Security First for Preventive Surveillance
With signed firmware and secure boot, the P1375 camera has extra features that make it difficult for any type of tampering, making it an extremely secure camera with data protection. The Secure Boot function, for example, ensures that every time the device is started, it is free of malware after being reset to factory settings.
Finally, the P1375 camera features impact detection, which triggers an alarm in case of any unsafe actions, such as hits or spray painting.
