AXIS Motion Detection
Depending on the type of your project, there are various analytical software options that can assist in detecting people, movement, and more. The AXIS Motion Detection is an application designed to detect movement within the surveillance perimeter of a camera. In version 4, it is pre-installed in cameras supporting firmware 6.50 or higher. For earlier versions, you can find it here.
Beyond its primary detection function, AXIS Motion Detection includes technology that allows defining multiple inclusion zones, which determine where detection and alerts will be triggered. Additionally, the software features algorithms capable of detecting false alarms, reducing alerts caused by common environmental movements (such as background motion, foliage, small animals, etc.).
