Axis Communications has launched its newest PTZ model, the first of this year. Combining the latest technology with the traditional quality of the CCTV product manufacturer, this PTZ camera features a 21x optical zoom and various other configurations at an attractive cost-benefit.

As we showed in the following article, PTZ cameras have a high capacity for coverage, as the technology allows the camera to move in Pan (Panoramic / Horizontal), Tilt (Vertical), and Zoom (Magnification) angles. This enables the camera to cover a wide field of view and can replace several cameras that do not have PTZ technology.

Among the various PTZ camera models manufactured by Axis, the new P5654-E stands out for allowing coverage of 77° and having a structure for installation in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Among the features of the P5654-E, you can find an HDTV lens that captures images in 720p, as well as electronic stabilization that provides a sharp view of the monitored area even when the camera is in motion.

Additionally, like the latest lines of cameras manufactured by Axis, the P5654-E includes the latest tools to enhance monitoring quality, such as lightfinder 2.0 and WDR Forensic, which work to improve lighting and sharpen the camera's algorithms for better performance in dark, bright, shadowy, or overexposed environments.

To complete the solution package provided by the P5654-E camera, there are data storage and transmission configurations. The Axis P5654-E supports the latest codecs, H.264 and H.265, all in conjunction with Axis's exclusive data suppression technology, ZipStream.

In addition to savings in transmission and storage, Axis offers signed firmware and advanced security protocols, mitigating the risks of data leakage.
