Behavior Analysis
The Axis Perimeter Defender was developed to identify and manage types of alerts based on the behavior of the monitored user. These behaviors can be divided into Intrusion, Zone Crossing, Loitering Behavior, and Conditional Zone Crossing.
While the intrusion behavior can generate alerts for people who have entered restricted areas, Zone Crossing allows an alert to be generated when a person crosses from a permitted zone to a non-permitted zone.
Loitering Behavior allows alerts to be generated after a person remains in a monitoring zone for a predefined period of time.
Finally, Zone Crossing allows alerts to be generated for people who cross zones without first passing through other zones such as entrances and receptions.
