Among the various types of cameras produced by the manufacturer Axis Communications, there are PTZ models that work with camera and lens movement, as well as panoramic models that can achieve a view of up to 360º.
Generally, these models are designed for implementations in projects with specific needs such as monitoring parking lots, squares, parks, and even cities, as they have a high capacity for monitoring in good resolution.
However, the model presented in this article is even more advanced, as it combines the ability to monitor in 360º (with camera movement) with a specific attachment for inserting a PTZ camera from the Q60 line. This set of advanced cameras in a single device is the Q6010-E.
Q6010-E
This model of equipment produced by Axis comes with 4 built-in cameras that move within the monitoring space to cover 360º of images at a resolution of 5MP, totaling 20MP. Additionally, the cameras were designed to allow rotation movement for corridor mode, which saves horizontal space to show more vertical space in monitoring when needed.
This corridor mode is recommended for use in long-range spaces such as long streets. Furthermore, the camera was developed to support video compression in H.264 and the latest H.265, which saves storage and data transmission over the network.
PTZ Camera
However, the biggest differentiator of this model is the ability to attach a PTZ camera from the Q60 line of Axis, which allows tracking the movement of objects and individuals in the monitoring space using the camera's zoom, tilt (up and down movement), and pan (lateral movement).
In this way, with a single device, the user can have a broad view of everything happening in the monitoring scenario, and with the attached PTZ, they can monitor a specific event that is occurring.
