With a significant portion of incidents occurring at night, cameras with infrared illumination have become essential for quality security, thanks to their ability to capture heat through the infrared sensor, allowing monitoring even in total darkness. This is one of the many features provided by the new P1455-LE camera, the latest version of the Axis P1445-LE model.
The camera monitors in HD 1080p resolution at up to 60 frames per second using Axis Zipstream for bandwidth and storage savings. Unlike the previous model, the Axis P1445-LE, the Axis P1455-LE camera supports H.264 and H.265 codecs, with the latter being the most recent version of the algorithm that performs intelligent pixel analysis to save storage.
The Axis P1455-LE supports the new Axis Object Analytics application, which features an algorithm for detecting, classifying, and tracking people and vehicles. The camera also has a varifocal lens of 3 - 9mm, with color detection in environments of up to 0.07 lux (low light).
