In this article, we will showcase a bit about the Q6100-E model with PTZ and 360º monitoring.
First, it is important to note that the new Q6100-E model is part of a line of equipment that features the ability to attach a second camera alongside the model. For the Q6100-E, the models that support attachment are from the Q61 line. We can see this same method occurring with the Q6010-E camera, which supports attachment of models from the Q60 line as mentioned in this article.
One of the major differentiators of this line is the provision of 4 5MP cameras on the top of the camera, which are included to monitor in a wide 360º view up to 20MP in total. Additionally, these 4 cameras can tilt and rotate to change the monitoring to corridor mode, allowing for an increased height of the monitoring frame.
Moreover, the Q6100-E model features directional audio detection, where the directional audio system detects atypical noises and directs the PTZ towards the source of the detected audio.
Furthermore, the Q6100-E model includes all the latest innovations from the manufacturer, such as support for the H.265 codec (in addition to H.264), which compresses the captured video data and improves its transmission and storage. Additionally, the model supports Axis Zipstream - a specific Axis system that enhances data savings to a greater level - and features a fully simplified installation system with autofocus and positioning calibration.
