Starting a CCTV project is not always an easy task, especially when the project is for large areas, such as a parking lot and shopping malls, which require high coverage along with high image quality.
An economical solution that also provides practicality is the panoramic cameras from Axis Communications, specifically the multidirectional P3717-PLE and P3719-PLE, which are capable of monitoring in multiple directions at the same time.
WHAT ARE THEIR BENEFITS?
The multidirectional cameras P3717-PLE and P3719-PLE have four heads that can be positioned independently, providing coverage of up to 360º.
As we saw in this article, the Axis P3719-PLE is capable of capturing images at up to 15MP, and even in low-light environments, it has an infrared sensor, remote zoom and focus, a memory card slot, H.265 compression codec along with Axis Zipstream, IP66 rating, and various other benefits.
On the other hand, the Axis P3717-PLE captures images at up to 8MP and features PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Roll) and Twist movements, as well as several benefits that we can check in the following article.
