Axis Communications has launched its latest model of Dome/Fixed camera, the first of this year. This camera is ideal for outdoor monitoring and features granular object classification along with all the high-quality features of the AXIS P32 series.
It has a unique dual chipset that makes the P3255-LVE a perfect platform for deep learning-based analytics, and in conjunction with Axis Object Analytics, it can detect and classify humans and/or vehicles, resulting in fewer false alarms.
The model allows for greater field of view coverage, as we can move the lens to predefined positions using Pan (Horizontal movement – 180°), Tilt (Vertical movement – 75°), and Rotation (175°) technology.
Among the features of the P3255-LVE, there is a varifocal lens of 3.4 – 8.9mm, which captures images in HDTV with a resolution of 1080p.
The P3255-LVE includes the latest tools developed by Axis Communications to enhance monitoring quality, such as Lightfinder 2.0 and WDR Forensic, which provide excellent detail in challenging lighting conditions or near darkness, and OptimizedIR, which ensures clear video without the need for additional lighting in total darkness.
As mentioned above, it is an outdoor-ready camera, with an IK10-rated housing that is resistant to dust and vandalism, protecting against redirection, blurring, and impacts.
It also features Zipstream technology that can be used in conjunction with a compression standard, either H.264 or H.265.
In addition to savings in transmission and storage, Axis has signed firmware and advanced security protocols, mitigating the risks of data leakage.
