Axis Q6078-E – Enjoy all the details
If you are looking for high-performance equipment, you have just found it! Due to its powerful chipset, it offers UHD 4K with 20x optical zoom without compromising image quality. Additionally, the preservation of scene details - clarity and sharpness - is also guaranteed.
When we say it can be used in challenging situations, we are not joking. A significant feature that comes with the launch is the Arctic temperature control, which ensures that the camera starts and operates normally even in ultra-freezing conditions, with temperature variations between -40ºC to 50ºC – or -40ºF to 122ºF.
As it is an outdoor camera that can be used in low-temperature environments, it has some important ratings to maintain its preservation. The IP66, NEMA 4K, and IK10 protect it against dust, rain, snow, and impacts.

Signed Firmware, Secure Boot, and Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
We know that cyberattacks are becoming more frequent, and investing in secure solutions has never been more important.
To prevent your company's data from being breached, stolen, or even manipulated, Axis Communications has developed some advanced technologies to keep your system always protected.
While signed firmware prevents unauthorized access, secure boot ensures that the camera is free from malware if the user alters the factory settings.
The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) ensures the secure storage of all cryptographic keys and certificates, even in cases of security breaches.
Axis Zipstream – Savings for Your CCTV Project
Now you might be thinking, “If video files already take up space on the hard drive, imagine how much the images from this super camera must occupy.”
To prevent this from happening, the Axis Q6078-E features Axis Zipstream, which significantly reduces bandwidth and storage requirements while preserving all important forensic details in a scene.
It can also be used in conjunction with other video compression standards, such as H.264 and H.265.
Axis Object Analytics – Minimizing False Alarms
For those who are not yet familiar with Axis Object Analytics (AOA), it is a video analytics technology also developed by the manufacturer.
It can detect and classify humans and objects in a scene, and in addition to making this differentiation, it can also analyze unusual human behaviors, such as a person crouching, crawling, or engaging in any other activity considered suspicious.
Due to its intelligent analysis, it can capture factors that generate false alarms, such as rustling leaves, shadows, and moving objects, allowing focus on real threats.
And to everyone's delight, the new Axis camera also comes with this technology.
Maintaining Privacy
If your project includes environments where privacy must be maintained - such as neighboring properties - the Axis Q6078-E features a privacy mask function. It creates a pixelated mosaic band in user-defined areas.
Note that these technologies are compatible with Axis equipment and are often pre-installed from the factory.
