Monitor up to 4 different areas
The new panoramic camera from AXIS offers four channels with 2MP each, and all of them can be moved or rotated to provide an ideal field of view for each user. Additionally, each channel can be controlled individually, allowing monitoring of scenes in four different directions.
And there's more! Its sensors can also be rotated, allowing two camera heads to be positioned together so that one can capture a wider view while the other zooms in on the identified object.
Install in just a few minutes
Even with four camera heads, its installation remains quick, precise, and cost-effective. This is because the four sensors are considered as a single camera, requiring only one cable, one IP address, and one VMS software for installation.
This ease also applies to its remote zoom and focus features, which eliminate the need for manual fine-tuning.

Like the new equipment from the manufacturer, the P3727-PLE also features ZipStream technology, which ensures a reduction in bandwidth and storage requirements securely without losing image quality, and is also compatible with H.264 and H.265 compression standards.
Additionally, thanks to its edge storage, it is possible to record directly to two integrated SD cards to expand storage capacity.
Another significant differentiator is its advanced security features that protect your system from potential cyberattacks, such as signed firmware that prevents unauthorized access to the system, secure boot that ensures the camera is free from malware if the user changes the factory settings, and the Axis Edge Vault that protects the IDs of Axis devices and simplifies product authorization on your network.

Often, lighting conditions are not favorable, but to help you get the best from Axis equipment, the manufacturer developed two extremely important features for video monitoring: Lightfinder and Forensic WDR.
Both have essential functions for surveillance. While Lightfinder provides sharp and colorful images even in low light conditions, WDR delivers high-quality images even with dark and bright areas in the same scene.
In addition to these, it is also possible to run AXIS Object Analytics on one of its four channels to further enhance the security of the location.
Extra: Object Analytics is a technology capable of detecting and classifying humans and objects in a scene and, in addition to making this differentiation, it can also analyze unusual human behaviors, such as a person crouching, crawling, or performing any other activity considered suspicious.
Mounting options
The AXIS P3727-PLE is ideal for mounting in outdoor environments, but thanks to its compact and flexible design, it can be mounted in various settings.
For example, when mounted in corners, whether indoors or outdoors, it offers a view of up to 270º, and when mounted on ceilings or open areas, its coverage reaches 360º.
And there’s no need to worry about dust, snow, or sunlight, as the IP66 and IP67 ratings protect its housing against weather issues and vandalism.
